Intentionally conceived by his parents, Dhruva was born into a family with spiritual aspirations.

Until nine years old, he was raised in an ashram situation as a young monk of the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition. Although well-intended, this life was somewhat contrary and restricting to the nature of this exuberant and rambunctious child,

Later he was home-schooled, receiving unorthodox education which enabled him to expand beyond the mainstream paradigms. With creative ideas flowing at a rate of several per hour, he mastered many trades in his teens, achieving many feats beyond his years.
